About You
You are a skilled and strategic communications professional who joins our team on a short-term, freelance basis as a PR Consultant based in our Sydney office. You're a creative thinker who thrives on developing and executing PR campaigns that deliver real results. You understand how to align PR strategies with broader business and brand goals and you are comfortable navigating complex challenges with ease.
As a Freelance PR Consultant, you take on a hands-on role with our client teams. You will lead the day-to-day execution of earned and integrated campaigns for a diverse mix of B2B and B2C technology brands.
What You Do
As a Freelance PR Consultant, you manage projects with a high degree of independence and accountability. You will :
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of PR and integrated communication campaigns across a portfolio of technology clients.
- Create and implement strategic communication plans that meet client business and brand objectives.
- Support and manage account teams in the development, coordination, implementation and administration of campaigns using both traditional and integrated tools
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients becoming a trusted partner they can rely on for proactive counsel and practical solutions
What You Offer
- A minimum of 4 years of agency experience in communications consulting, preferably with exposure to corporate and/or technology clients.
- Proven experience developing and executing creative, integrated campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong media relations skills and an understanding of the Australian media landscape.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing your time and priorities effectively in a freelance or part-time set-up.
- A track record of building and managing positive client relationships, with high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- You are a team player with a strong ability to motivate, inspire, delegate, empower and lead teams to consistently exceed clients’ expectations
- Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on industry trends and applying those insights to your client work.
